#582 | “No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even to the 10th generation.” Is this not a bit of misguided punishment? Who does the suffering when bad Grandpa is dead? Does this sound like an actual rational God?
#580 | We don’t punish the children of slavers for the sins of their fathers. Why would and how could a sin nature be legitimately passed on to other independent and innocent humans, condemning them to sin, then condemning them for sinning? What sense does this make?
#286 | “Prepare a place to slaughter his children for the sins of their ancestors; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities.” Isaiah 14:21 Does this verse reflect the rationality and behavior of an actual God of the Universe?
#264 | Can we not immediately reject as absurd and incoherent any alleged God explained in a book that explicitly blames the pain and anguish of deformed or diseased infants on sins not their own? Or do some Gods get a pass on logical coherence? Which Gods and why?
